Law & Order: SVU Was The Most-Watched Scripted Series In The First Half Of 2023
Since its premiere in 1999, Law & Order: SVU has been going strong and shows no signs of stopping. As fans have grown to know and love characters like Olivia Benson and Fin Tutuola, they continue to tune in for more, and this year is no exception.
According to data from Inscape, SVU came in at #3 for live, linear watch time, with a 1.06% viewership share across all dayparts from January 1st through June 30th. Only the NBA and NFL surpassed the show, making it the top scripted program in the first half of the year.
In total, Wolf Entertainment had three of the top 25 shows across all dayparts, with Chicago Fire and FBI ranking high as well. For primetime minutes watched, Chicago Fire ranked at #8 with 1.02% and FBI ranked at #13 with 0.91%, both beating out SVU at #15 with 0.84%.
