Ellen Burstyn Reprises Role as Bernadette Stabler in Organized Crime

Mama Stabler is back! Oscar, Emmy and Tony Award-winning actress Ellen Burstyn, who originally portrayed Bernadette Stabler, Elliot Stabler’s troubled mother, in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit is set to reprise her role in the upcoming season of Law & Order: Organized Crime. Ellen famously won the 2009 Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for this role, which originally appeared in SVU episode “Swing.”

Law & Order: Organized Crime returns for its second season on Thursday, September 23. Bernadette Stabler will appear in the series later in the fall.
