Danny Pino to Return to SVU for 500th Episode

Nick Amaro is making a return to the squadroom. Danny Pino, who formerly portrayed Rollins’ partner Detective Amaro, will return to SVU for the show’s historic 500th episode. 

Danny Pino departed Law & Order: SVU at the end of Season 16, with his character suffering the repercussions of mistakenly shooting an unarmed teenager. 

The history-making 500th episode of SVU will air on October 21, 2021 on NBC and will stream the next day on Peacock.
