Law & Order: SVU

At the top of our list is SVU’s harrowing William Lewis saga, which started with S14E24 “Her Negotiation” and continued  throughout Season 15, with S15E1 “Surrender Benson” and S15E10 “Psycho/Therapist” and ending with S15E20 “Beast’s Obsession” and S15E21 “Post-Mortem Blues.” One of the show’s all-time scariest villains, William became the squad’s focus for this series of unforgettable episodes.

If that wasn’t enough SVU for you, Season 16 and 17 introduce a pair of dangerous serial killers, Gregory Yates and Carl Rudnick, who appeared in the S16E20 “Daydream Believer” as well as the first 2 episodes of Season 17, “Devil’s Dissections” and “Criminal Pathology.” Their story reaches its epic climax with the S17E14 “Nationwide Manhunt“. This multi-episode story is full of twists and turns, and is sure to have you hooked.

One Chicago

For One Chicago fans looking for a gripping watch, “Infection” is the way to go. This 3-part crossover event starts with Chicago Fire S8E4 “Infection Part I” and moves on to Chicago Med S5E4 “Infection Part II” and concludes with Chicago P.D. S7E4 “Infection Part III.” In these nail-biting episodes, first responders work alongside the CDC to face a rare-but-deadly bacteria that’s spreading throughout the city and taking its toll.

Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders

This 8-episode series is the perfect binge-watch. Though we recommend watching them all, we especially love Episode 5, which centers on a conversation between Erik Menendez (Cooper Koch) and his defense attorney, Leslie Abramson (Ari Graynor) — and was all shot in one take.

FBI

All three FBI shows crossed over in 2023, and this is the perfect time to revisit these action-packed episodes.
