NBC to air “The Paley Center Presents Law & Order: Before They Were Stars” Following the “SVU” Premiere

Directly following the season 22 premiere of Law & Order: SVU, NBC will air an hour-long special, The Paley Center Presents Law & Order: Before They Were Stars.

Throughout the franchise’s 30 year history, a significant number of guest appearances and minor roles were filled by actors who went on to have prominent careers. Law & Order is one of television’s most legendary brands and has served as a springboard for so many talented actors,” said Maureen J. Reidy, the Paley Center’s President & CEO. “We’re honored to partner with our friends from NBC to present this entertaining look at where some of today’s biggest stars got their first big break.”

The telecast will feature interviews with actors such as S. Epatha Merkerson (Chicago Med), Peter Scanavino (Law & Order: SVU), Bradley Cooper (A Star is Born), Leslie Odom Jr. (Hamilton), Ariel Winter (Modern Family), Michael Imperioli and Aida Turturro (The Sopranos), among others.

With over 1,200 episodes from the Law & Order franchise to date, the Paley special will be a fun, nostalgia-filled walk down memory lane. The special will air Thursday, November 12 at 10/9c on NBC and will be available for streaming the next day on Peacock.
