Law & Order Celebrates 500th Episode

Law & Order has reached a major milestone — the iconic series has reached its 500th episode. Titled “No Good Deed,” the 500th episode will air on Thursday May 9th on NBC.

Since its premiere in 1990, Law & Order has changed the game for procedural dramas and continues to be a widely watched and strongly loved modern classic. The series has won and been nominated for numerous awards, has inspired popular spin offs including Law & Order: SVU and Law & Order: Organized Crime, and has made television history time and time again. 

To celebrate the show’s achievement, Law & Order’s cast, crew, show creator Dick Wolf, and producer Peter Jankowski gathered on set, and after a few words from Dick and Peter, dug into a custom cake fit for this momentous occasion. Check out photos from the celebration below.
