Brian Tee to Direct New Episode of Chicago Med

Former Chicago Med star Brian Tee is returning to set — but this time he’ll be behind the camera. This month, he will be directing a brand new episode of the show.

Brian, who played Dr. Ethan Choi for 8 seasons, previously told Deadline that the role changed his life and career as an Asian American actor. “Ethan Choi represents to me the first time I’ve actually played a protagonist in such a strong way,” he said. “[Dr. Choi] catapulted me into a different arena, one where I felt the perception of not only myself but Asian Americans had been changed.”
