Weaving together archival footage, iconic performances, and so much more, the film charts the band’s formation in 1965 through Jim Morrision’s untimely demise in 1971, giving audiences an unprecedented look at the Doors’ musical madness from one scene to the next.

“The Doors: When You’re Strange” was written and directed by Tom DiCillo and executive produced by Dick Wolf alongside producers John Beug, Jeff Jampol, Peter Jankowski.
